Lay's Kettle Cooked Sharp Cheddar Flavor
Lay's Kettle Cooked Sharp Cheddar Extra Crunchy taste great! They actually are extra crunchy - the flavor is fabulous - so this should be one of my favorite chips, but it isn't! With over 25 ingredients including MSG I just have to question why Lays, who have been the forerunner of companies switching to a few, simple ingredients would come out with this product.

Cape Cod Parmesan and Garlic Potato Chips
Cape Cod Parmesan and Garlic Potato Chips are cooked in 100% canola oil, which has the lowest saturated fat content of all the vegetable oils. This flavor of parmesan and roasted garlic doesn't quite make it... Not sure if it is because there is not enough garlic, or not enough parmesan, but nothing stands out flavor-wise. It is a slightly thicker chip - so it is great to use for spreads or dips.

Terra Kettles Arrabiata
This product is a HIT!
What is with Arrabiata Potato chips? Do Italians even like potato chips? Well, they will after they taste these new chips from Terra - with just the right flavor and just the right thickness, this is one of the best chips I've had in a long time. But, I do have a complaint - who is the chef? This new line is Chef-Inspired... I want to know whose recipe it is! Retails for $2.79

Boulder Canyon Spinach and Artichoke Kettle Cooked Potato Chips
Colorado is known as the hot bed for innovative, healthy food products - and Boulder Canyon is trying to be one of them with these chips! But with the highest sodium of all the chips I tasted today and a Spinach and Artichoke flavor that tastes cheesy, salty, garlicky and a little earthy, but not specifically spinach-y or artichoke-y... I was a little disappointed.

Zapp's Voodoo Gumbo Limited Edition Flavor
Last, but not least - Zapp's Limited Edition Voodoo Gumbo Cajun flavored chips. When I see the word Cajun, I think spicy and flavorful and when I see the word Voodoo, I think magic and mystery - so that is what I was expecting - then I took a bite... These chips are way too sweet. The package says it is a mixture of about 5 flavors - my recommendation is - buy any of the regular editions of Zapps - you know the one without the MSG!
And why don't any of these products have re-closeable bags?
